Villages full of character in a region full of history
The Champagne Ardennes region has more hidden treasures than it's famous champagne. It's history and the majesty of the Ardennes will allow you to discover varied horizons, making your stay in this region a moment of happiness.
Louisiane Di Stefano was born in a small village in Champagne Ardenne region. She lived in the South of France and then in the U.S. But "strangely, like a magnet, I always come back to this region. There must be a reason!".
With Renato, her husband, they make a couple of passionate hoteliers. In fact, the decoration of the INTER-HOTEL Le Chantereigne evokes the U.S. of «American Graffiti» (the 1960's), a period they love. A warm welcome here is second nature: "My husband goes with tourists on their excursions. Just yesterday he showed a group the places where you can still see the impact of second world war tanks in the town of Troyes".
This ancient medieval city is in fact well known for it's 20th century history. In the region, the battles of the Marne and Ardennes are noted events in France's history. The Charles de Gaulle memorial in Haute Marne represents a reconstituition of the major events of the 20th century.

"But outside of the battles, our heritage is obviously Champagne. Every two seconds, a bottle is opened somewhere in the world". The region around Rheims is the starting point for visits in the region, from where you can discover beautiful walks through vineyards. For hikers, more than 5,000 kilometers of woodland run alongside the vineyards. The Ardennes are also excellent for hiking.
Our two establishments in Rheims (INTER-HOTEL Tip Top Hôtel and INTER-HOTEL Grand Hôtel du Nord) will give you a perfect welcome when you stay in the region. It will be the opportunity to visit the town of Rheims and it's famous cathedral, a major gothic masterpeice and above all the sacred place of the kings of France until Charles X in 1824.
